Do you know the feeling of entering a meeting with two loose pieces of paper in hand, a bit squashed and bent? The content is important, but the papers do not look the part. For moments like this, and in general to store and protect the few but important pieces of paper we still need hard copies of despite digitisation, we have developed The Filefolder. The folder is a soft and elegant A4 leather version of the more well-known plastic cover. Ours is made to last a lifetime and it only becomes more elegant with time. The Filefolder is part of our Deskset but comes in six colours; three surplus leather colours i.e., black, grey, cognac and three OEKO-TEX soft aniline leather colours i.e., cactus, saffron and terracotta.
The object is truly a must have for professionals and executives who carry hard copies of important papers and documents. Not only does it protect your papers and makes storage and filing easy, it also makes you look kind of cool and sorted.

Crafted by hand in the best available materials
Each August Sandgren object is crafted by hand in Portugal by a fourth-generation family of craftsmen. They are not only incredibly talented, but also very dear to us.
The leather and fabrics that we use are all sourced in Europe and from leading tanneries offering transparency; from the origin of the hide to their Oeko-tex certified tanning processes.
Today, most of our objects are crafted in surplus materials sourced from the world’s leading furniture and fashion brands – we are not only very proud to contribute to waste reduction, but also to work with a quality that does not get any better!
It is easy to keep your object beautiful
We craft our objects to last – both in their construction and in our choice of materials. The construction is perfected in every aspect to ensure that it lasts, and to a large extent, so will the leather. The leather will, however, patinate, which we believe is part of its beauty and a testimony to how natural a product we create. To maintain our objects in the best possible way, and to keep it moist, you should leave it out of direct sunlight and every couple of years, treat it with leather grease – just use a soft, clean, cotton cloth and a thin layer of grease, and that’s it!
Make it personal!
All our leather objects can be personalised with name or initials. It is a small addition with a huge and valuable potential for appreciation from the receiver – that person being yourself or someone dear to you.
Personalising your object is easy and only increases delivery time with a maximum of two-three days.
